One of Russia’s largest state-owned banks, Russian Agricultural Bank (Rosselkhozbank), has announced it has started issuing cards produced by the Chinese payment system UnionPay. An agreement on the deal was signed at the Forum by Russian Agricultural Bank CEO Dmitry Patrushev and UnionPay International Executive Vice President Cai Jianbo. UnionPay will help Rosselkhozbank issue and market the cards in Russia.

Indian officials have confirmed that their government will sign a free trade agreement with the Eurasian Economic Union at the Forum on Thursday.

"We are definitely signing this agreement," Amit Telang, First Secretary of the Indian Embassy in Russia, told Tass news agency.
